If you’re a follower of Darren’s Drains on active socials, like LinkedIn and Facebook, you’ll no doubt have seen the motivation and energy levels from Darren Tuthill. He is without doubt, from this writer’s perspective and as a customer who has employed Darren twice, one of the most expert, motivated and hardest working drain specialists in Norfolk and Suffolk.
Now I know, as a former teacher, that hard work can lead to results, but there’s often more to success than endeavour: talent. Darren has found a niche, a job he loves doing (when I don’t think I would) and provides consistently outstanding results, like others I know locally too.
Instead of me talking, here’s Darren explaining how he clears blocked drains quickly:
The first time people notice blocked drains is often gradual. They flush the toilet, which doesn’t clear completely or at usual speeds. Many people try their own ways of clearing this but unfortunately, matters can get worse. If a toilet is blocked in a pipe, adding more water and waste to it usually makes it worse! The blockage backs further up, and within days, the flushed water stays in the cistern, with you using another toilet (assuming you’ve got one). That’s where I come in – 7 days a week too.
We experienced this in our new build home in Bradwell, near Great Yarmouth. The downstairs loo was not emptying and despite the usual attempts ourselves, it remained blocked. We realised we needed a Norfolk drainage expert and called Darren.
He diagnosed it quickly with a camera – he could see the blockage on his CCTV equipment and he had the know how and equipment to jet the blockage so it cleared. To be honest, I expected some manual pushing with drain rods but this was more like a plumbing gastroscopy! He investigated the issue, like a doctor would, and solved it. Once cleared, Darren showed us the new unblocked pipes on his drainage laptop.
Now the point is this. When a drain or toilet gets blocked, we can all reach for DIY solutions like rods, but to cure the issue, you need a professional, like Darren.
