We know we’re lucky in East Anglia with weather. Norfolk and Suffolk are two of the driest counties in the UK and summers can be long and hot, but this winter has been quite severe.

A few weeks ago, many of us encountered the Beast from the East 2.0, a successor to its namesake from March 2018 and though it didn’t last as long, its severity was unusual.

Coastal areas around Yarmouth and Lowestoft seemed to have more snow than inland parts of Norfolk and Suffolk and the beaches at Gorleston had a rare blanket of snow.

So why are we writing about the weather?

Simple.

When we have snow and rain, drains seem to cause greater problems. This winter and spring has been no exception either.

Call outs have increased and because Darren is a key worker, there has been no let up in activity.

Which is great.

The forecast for the week ahead is still for cold weather, though more snow seems unlikely. Some parts of the country, however, are expecting a White Easter – the borders of Wales, for example.

We doubt East Anglia will be affected though.

The last month, if you follow our social media pages, has been incredibly busy.

We’ve invested in a new jetting machine to move the business forward and we’re finding demand for reliable drain clearance across Norfolk and Suffolk is increasing daily. Our CCTV equipment can identify what is causing blocked drains and our drain jetting equipment can quickly solve issues.

We’re delighted too with feedback this month:

Brilliant service, came out within the hour and fixed the problem. Very professional and would highly recommend for any drain issues. 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Laura Dunn

Highly recommend Darren. Came out on a Sunday and sorted the problem for us. Efficient, very reasonable and friendly, thank you Darren from Liz at the flower shop in Beccles.
